About us

Kerri Greens is the adventurous and forward-thinking wine label of Mornington Peninsula couple Lucas and Alyce Blanck, vignerons crafting single-site wine from self managed vineyards in Balnarring and Red Hill.

Winemaking and viticulture run in Lucas’s blood; whose own roots are founded in Alsace at his family winery, Domaine Paul Blanck. Alsatian purity meets Australian ingenuity in a philosophy that nods to both rich family heritage and pioneering spirit.

Wine Reviews

Rating: 5 out of 5.

“The Mornington Peninsula doesn’t really feature on any list of this country’s key Riesling regions, but a transplanted Alsatian might just change that. Lucas & Alyce Blanck possess both a famous winemaking surname & an innate feel for building texture in Riesling through the use of old oak. This is a really serious wine reshaping the Riesling map.”

This Riesling has Alsatian DNA. Aromas trigger memories, neurons fire up, and here we are, Australia to France in a nanosecond… It’s an Aussie Riesling with an Alsatian soul.

“Probably the finest Hickson to date. A light flutter of lemon blossom, beeswax and ginger spice. This is refreshing and citrusy, with lemon and limes plus a more complexing lemon barley water flavour. Acidity drives this but there are also some spicy woodsy notes and creamy/nutty lees, so there’s texture, too. It’s mouth-watering, savoury and detailed. Love it.”
