“A low-yielding site, so just one old French hogshead made, (ouch!) yet a gorgeous wine the result. This is ethereal with fine gossamer-like acidity holding together citrus, lemon cream and white nectarine flavours. There’s texture and creaminess across the palate, but it too is restrained and there’s a lipsmacking tonic water/saline character, without the sweetness of course. Moreish, savoury and a stunning drink. Bravo.”
